Meet Tulasi: The Heart Behind Nepal Heritage Discoveries
My name is Tulasi, and I was born in Sauraha, a charming village nestled at the edge of Chitwan National Park. Growing up so close to nature, I developed a deep appreciation and love for the environment.
My journey began in 1995 when I started working as an assistant nature guide in Chitwan National Park. Over the years, I gained valuable experience and became a Senior Nature Guide, eventually working at a hotel in Sauraha. During this time, I immersed myself in the study of Nepal’s rich culture, diverse bird species, fascinating wildlife, intricate insect life, and unique plant varieties.
I was fortunate to work at some of the most renowned hotels in Chitwan, where I had the pleasure of leading guests on birdwatching and cultural tours across various parts of Nepal, including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini, Bardiya, and Koshi. The positive feedback and encouragement from guests who traveled with me and my colleagues inspired me to start my own travel agency.
In 2025, I founded Nepal Heritage Discoveries with the vision of sharing my love for Nepal’s natural beauty and cultural heritage with travelers from around the world. As your guide, I am committed to providing enriching and memorable experiences that showcase the true essence of Nepal.
